‘It bothers me that Moffat has yet to bring anyone back from a past incarnation.It feels like he’s trying to start the series over, HIS way, but part of the magic of the show is that it’s generations long. none of the previous companions have even been mentioned other than the short images in Let’s Kill Hitler. The only character to cross over from 10’s time was River Song, and she’s from episodes that Moffat wrote anyway. It feels like he wants us to forget about everything else Doctor Who before he took over the show. It feels like he’s trying to take everything before him away from me.’

I don’t know the rest of you, but this series with Eleventh have made me think about Ten more than any other, especially because of River Song. I come back over and over again to that Library, to that moment in which “pretty boy” discovers and saves someone he doesn’t know… And, then, I remember how epic he was during his years, how awesome it was that season, how sad I was for Donna… For me, it is a constant thing to remind other seasons. Also, they have references to past incarnations, beyond New-Who. 

That is my opinion, that’s all.
